TMBG on 7/23.... yea, but what year?
So, the TMBG Latest News page might not mean 'most recent' news and that's a bummer--if you scroll to the bottom of the linked page, you'll see a free show on Penns Landing for July 23. But there's no year listed, the link is broken, and the Penns Landing site doesn't mention TMBG in the festival info, so I can't figure out whether they're playing or not. I'll have to err on the side of caution and not go, because I can't imagine the devastation I'd be capable of should I wade through an enormous crowd in sunny humid hot Philly listening to Ashlee Simpson for hours only to learn TMBG will not be playing.
